About DNZ
Mission Statement
"Delta Nu Zeta is a group where all women can find a sense of sisterhood, even if they do not feel that they fit the mold of, or could not afford membership in a traditional sorority. ΔNZ strives to promote the intellectual, social and personal development of all members. We accomplish this by providing academic support, a cohesive social network, and by providing many opportunities for group service to the community. Delta Nu Zeta is a sisterhood in which all women, regardless of race, religion, or socioeconomic background can feel at home."

PASSION
The sisters of Delta Nu Zeta pride themselves on the passion that they bring to the organization. Our passion can be seen through our dedication to making the sorority and our fellow sisters the best they can be. Passion is seen in the values we hold, and the empowerment we are providing to the women of Florida State University.
SISTERHOOD
The sisterhood of DNZ is truly one of a kind. Because our organization is smaller than a traditional Panhellenic sorority, we are able to retain close ties to each one of our sisters. Our sisterhood is strong, and supportive and will give you a home away from home for your time here at FSU and beyond.

CHARITY
The charity of our sorority is reflected through many different service organizations and outlets. Our main philanthropy is with the Companion Animal Rescue Endeavor, based right here in Tallahassee. We also partner with other organizations on campus to give back to the surrounding community. Each sister is required to complete 20 hours of community service per semester, and since its founding, DNZ has been able to donate over 16,000 hours of community service.
OUR HISTORY
Delta Nu Zeta was first founded at Florida State University in 2003. The founders wished to provide the women at Florida State with a close, tight-knit group of women who are devoted to our three pillars; Passion, Sisterhood, and Charity. Although the sorority started small with only a few women, the numbers have grown. Today, Delta Nu Zeta is home to over 120 active sisters.
